Catch a Wave

It's been so hot here recently that I'm consistently wishing to be at the beach so I can cool down! Since I can't be at the beach all the time though, I figured I'd bring a bit of the beach to my nails!

This design is actually something I came up with when I was in Hawaii last month because these (plus one other light blue) were the only nail polishes I brought with me! I didn't end up doing this design while I was there though because let's face it, who really wants to "work" while on vacation? :P
I'm glad they turned out as well as I hoped they would though!

This is also definitely one of the easiest/quickest designs I've done lately; it took maybe 30 minutes which is a significant improvement from the 3+ hours it can take for more intricate designs.
I started off painting the waves in white, filled it in, and then continued adding waves in darker shades of blue after that!
