All Mapped Out

This is my first non-kpop, non-30-day-challenge manicure in a while and I'm absolutely in love with it.

I was only going to do one hand and then take it off but I ended up really liking the way it turned out so I finished the other hand and I'm going to keep it for a few more days.

I used the watercolor technique again for this. I'm really liking the effect that watercolors give, sorry if I'm slightly abusing the technique. But it was honestly perfect for making the beige look old and worn and to make the darker rings around the islands.

You also may have noticed that I'm trying out a new logo. I've been trying to come up with a decent one for a while and threw this together the other night. What do you think?

Rum Pum Pum Pum

Next up on the list of artists having comebacks this summer is f(x) with their new album Pink Tape. In honor of their comeback I did a manicure inspired by their new music video, Rum Pum Pum Pum.

I think this is my first kpop manicure inspired by a girl group. Wow.
Anyways, I think my favourite nails in this are the heart on my left thumb and the left middle finger.
This was the first time I got to try out my striping tape! I used it for the right index finger. It worked really well and I'm excited to use it again.

I really love f(x)'s style, (especially Victoria and Sulli in this mv), so this was really fun to do. The song is really catchy, too. Go listen to it if you haven't already. You should also listen to Shadow, the song from the art film), because it's amazing.

xoxo

Oh look, SM decided to release the Drama Version of the Wolf MV yesterday with no warning whatsoever.
On the bright side, I found out about the drama ver. this morning as I was about to redo my nails so I took some inspiration from the video.

I tried out a bunch of different things in this manicure. I have a textured polish on my index fingers, (not sure if I'd recommend painting anything over the textured polish, it's hard to make the lines look good), caviar beads on my left ring finger, splatter on my left middle finger and acrylics on my thumbs.

The eyes were kind of hard to paint, (since I don't really like painting in general - surprising, I know), but I think I'm getting the hang of painting my nails with acrylics.

I love the caviar beads, the whole textured thing is really cool.

And as for the video itself, if you haven't seen it you should go watch it. Luhan shouldn't be allowed to look that pretty. He also shouldn't push Kyungsoo, tsk.

30 Day Nail Challenge, Day 16: Tribal Print

This design is so bright, I simultaneously can't look at it and can't look away from it.
This is my first time using a neon polish and I quite like it, actually. It's also my first time using Seche Vite which is finally being carried in my area! It does dry fast and nicely like I've heard so I'm pleased with it so far.

Products Used:
Revlon - 955 Quick Dry Base Coat
Rimmel London - 110 French White Nail Tip Liner
Sally Hansen - 300 White On
Ciaté - 074 Big Yellow Taxi
Essie - 1017 Bottle Service
